Universal Telepathy

sometimes really weird things happen right? like 1 in a million probability comes true and you're not sure why. Like the other day I was in the shower and I like to listen to music in the shower so I was listening to Pandora. I was thinking about how I'm going into this Emergency Medical Technician class next year and I was really excited for it so the other day I was watching this show called Chicago fire about EMTs and firemen. It's a really good show. And then there was this related show called sirens that I was thinking about watching cause Lord knows I don't need another TV show to watch. Anyways, I'm getting off topic! so I was trying to think of the name of this new TV show and right as I though "Oh yeah, Sirens!!" the lyrics of the song said sirens and I was a little bit freaked out at first, but then I chuckled and continued with my showering. I mean I guess it's not as weird as I'm making it out to be, but I thought it was weird. What's even weirder than that was when over the summer my boyfriend and I were always thinking "on the same wavelength" as we like to put it. Things would happen like we would wear the same exact outfit for running and we would say the same exact thing at the same exact time, or we would be the only ones that supported one thing over another. It was pretty weird. We made up this "wavelength high five" for those certain occasions. I'm ranting again haha oh well! anyways, point is that those funny coincidences are kinda the little things in life that make me happy. I wonder it that way for other people too...?

Over the Moon for My Licence!!

So this upcoming Thursday I'm taking my driver's licence test and I'm really excited!! and nervous!! I mean I'm a pretty good driver, but I'm still nervous. The only thing I'm really nervous about is the speed thing... You know how usually you can get away with 10 mph over the speed limit, but in the test they not to even go 1 mph over? yeah, my behind the wheel lesson instructor was cool with the 10 mph thing, but the guy who was the classroom teacher was really like "NO!! NEVER GO OVER THE SPEED LIMIT!!" gosh that's another thing, why can't those people at least be consistent!!! anyways... I usually go a tid bit fast... so I'll just drive excruciatingly slow.... sorry to-be test examiner person! Call up your family, cause it looks like you'll have to miss next Christmas!!

 Most kids are really nervous about the two-point turn in reverse or the parallel parking, but I'm actually pretty good at those. I'm really meticulous and particular about everything, and probably really slow too, but I get in the spot every time so I'm not too worried about it. That's actually kinda funny cause with everything else I usually don't care!!  BUT WAIT!! THERE'S MORE!! Even after you get your licence you're not done!! You have to pay for car insurance, gas, and do errands for your parents!! yuck. I am excited that I get to do my own thing though. Now when I miss the bus I can just drive!!  That's one small step for Adrianna, one giant leap for her independence!!

Stupid College

I think I said before that I'm a junior in high school right? well anyways, I keep getting all these annoying emails from random colleges and they all sound so creepy! most of them want to offer me this one guide that is supposedly " the answer to all my questions" or a link to their website or tell me how amazing their school is or whatever. I'm so sick of them blowing up my inbox. I got so tired of it that I just let them pile up until I had like over a thousand unread emails in my inbox. Everyone who saw my phone was always like " WOah! you never read your email, do you??" and I'm all like "cha, I do brah. But only when it's from someone like my mom or my cross country coach!" and yes, my mother emails me all the time. She sends me reminders of stuff coming up or whatever. I still don't understand why she cant just text me those things.... anyways!! It's annoying, especially since I already pretty much know which college I'm going to, and them bugging me all the time makes me NOT want to go there JUST because they always email me. So HA! take that colleges. Colleges:1, Me: 1. Now we're even. >;P

Technology

Today I am just so fed up with technology. It had all of these great things to offer, it makes you dependent on it, and then BAM!! it smacks you right in the face just when you need it most. It's always the night before a paper is due when your printer starts acting up or your internet is down. It's always when we are on that last episode of your favorite show when netflix starts having errors with it's website. it's terrible. the life of the technologically-dependent is a sad one. Today I almost got a virus on my brand new computer just because I went to Facebook and it started downloading programs and what not. (shaking my head) shameful...  But, we always come crawling back don't we?? well I say that we stand up against technology!! I don't mean like go back to caveman times or anything but the less dependent we are on computers and more on ourselves, the stronger we are as a race!! the computer age is rising and the dawn of the computers will come!! beware of the power of the computer!!! it will be smarter than us one day, or it could already be too late...

I'm totally kidding that would never happen. Maybe for like a couple hours or something but everything is gonna run out of battery and die. MWAHAHAHA you'll never beat us computers!!! because we live off of organic food, not electricity!!! >:)))) 

of course this could all be a trick.... I am writing this on a computer so this could actually be the computer talking, not me. Maybe I've been a computer all along... you'll never know...

Just Keep it Simple, Man

Sometimes people make things way more complicated than they have to be. Like the dude who invented the keyboard that im typing on right now. why couldn't he just make it alphabetical order instead of just throwing letters up in the air and seeing how they land. It would have been sooo much easier to learn how to type!!! You know who else made things a lot harder than they have to be?? They guy who invented sheets. like for a bed. What the heck does a sheet even do. I mean i get that fitted sheets help keep the mattress clean, but the sheet that goes in between you and your blankets is soo pointless!!! and it's just so cold!!! who decided to make everyone use that?? "HEY! Maybe we will all be warmer if we take this thin piece of fabric and put it between us and what's actually keeping us warm!!!" NO! you're just making things harder than they have to be, man. Just chill out (hehe pun). That's why i hate driving on this one road by my house. It's just always so busy and there's signs everywhere and lanes that run out and if you don't know where you're going you're pretty much screwed. it's so stupid. Why can't people just make things simpler.... OH! here's another example!! When you used to get that barbie doll or toy truck as a kid and they had them allll tied down with twisties and tape and shrink wrap. It's crazy!!! it's like a straight jacket for plastic toys!! where is that doll or truck gonna go??? they're in a box!! like really, man, take it easy. i guess some men just like to watch the world... sit back and scratch their heads because they don't know what's going on and they're really confused...

Romance Is In The... Mountains

So today in English class we were learning about the romantic era in American literature, which doesn't mean what you think it means. Romantics focused a lot on nature, landscape imagery and lessons you can learn from nature. So she was kind of like "whatever, try it yourself, you have four minutes" and so I wrote this poem, and I'm actually pretty proud of it (I mean four minutes is NOT a lot of time) and the lesson in this is that if you can just get through the tough times, easier times are just around the corner. And then when you look back on when you were having trouble with something and you got through it, it's actually beautiful to see where you came from. So just keep that in mind, and also that this was 4 MINUTES so it's not my best work ever.

Plants dying 

Fruit rotting, falling from the trees

Everything is changing

Everyday it's raining

Chaos is raging

Animals are chasing

My weird dream

Okay so in my dream I had a daughter. And my daughter was a pie. Like an actual pie, not even like dressed up as one or was a pie with eyes or a mouth or anything. She was just a blue berry pie and I loved her, but I was too young and I was giving her up for adoption. So this nice couple that was going to adopt her walked into my kitchen while I was off doing something. So they walked in and they saw my pie/daughter on the counter and they thought it was for them. So they ate her, and when I came back and saw them eating her and her blueberry insides all over their face I said "what the heck are you eating my daughter for" and I was really mad at them, and then I woke up laughing so hard that I cried. Every time I remember it I can't stop laughing at how rediculous it is! I mean I've had some pretty rediculous dreams in my time, but this one really takes the...... Pie..... Hehehehehe.
